Catherine is a painter and designer based in Paris in the Bastille quarter, then on the basque coast. She studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts d'Aix-en-Provence.
Her work is inspired by her favorite artists, Matisse, Monet, Dufy, Delaunay.
She hand paints all her designs on silk to create art-to-wear... scarves with coordinated teeshirts, stoles, ties.
Her creations include custom made screens, lampshades, silk paintings.
She offers digital prints of her originals numbered in limited series.
She created derived products for the museum shops in Paris (Museum Marmottan MONET), Lisbon (Museu da Farmacia), and recently for a boutique in Brentwood, Los Angeles (SOLEIADO).
Catherine paints in other media also: oil on canvas and watercolors.
